Landscape in oils on tone-ground paper
Before I ever picked up a pen tablet, I used oil and acrylic paints - and I still do. I apply the same principles I learned using a wet paintbrush to my digital work, prompting some viewers of my animation to remark on the "superb depth of field" and "colors you could almost taste". Here are some of my 'back to basics' works.
